Welcome to my watercolour gallery!

Most of my paintings are landscapes and seascapes. Occasionally I paint portraits. My portraits are either commissioned paintings or for personal use. Therefore none of the portraits in my portrait gallery are for sale. If you would like to have a portrait painted, please contact me.

I can be contacted by email: [email protected] or by use of the contact page.

If you are looking to purchase, please go to my landscape gallery.

Here are some paintings. Each painting is linked to the same painting in my gallery.

Watercolor paintingReppe Evening
Reppe is just outside Trondheim, my home town. I always admired the views when I came here. One evening I came to find this sky. It needed to be painted. The city of Trondheim is a little to the left from this view.

Light Seascape No 7
I wanted to paint dark clouds, light and reflection and to experiment a little with textures in the clouds.

Watercolour painting of a small creek
Little Creek No 6
This is a small creek that I found many years ago when visiting Fosen. I have painted the scene in different variations several times. This is my 6th effort, as the title mentions. I was quite happy with composition and textures in this painting.

Trondheim October
Trondheim October
This is our local river, Nidelven, in Trondheim. I wanted to portray the river in autumn light.

Watercolour painting of Hyttfossen, a waterfall I found on my way to Røros
Falls No 3, Hyttfossen
I got a glimpse of these waterfalls when I was driving to Røros. Next time I drove this way I planned ahead to have time to  stay a while. It turned out that there is a small shop, benches, parking spaces and more, not visible from the road. Very nice place to stay for a short while. I changed the weather for this painting.
